why i love entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship started as a need for me. It was not something that I grew up wanting to be.

Growing up, you may have family members or people around you that ask this same reoccurring question….”What do you wanna be when you grow up?”

Entrepreneurship was never my answer.

My answer was always pediatrician, doctor, actors, aka all the type of answers a lot of kids may give you. I never said I wanted to be a Business Owner or a Tax Professional for that matter.

In hindsight, now that I reflect over my life, entrepreneurship is one of the best things that has happened to me and I believe it chose me.

Entrepreneurship invokes personal development. It allows you to see mirrors to things within yourself and see scenarios that you might have otherwise missed. It has taken me on a transformational journey which has allowed me to heal a lot of trauma I did not realize I even had.

In general, entrepreneurship has been a great teacher for me, and I am so grateful for its presence in my life.

As a Tax Professional, we are infamous for being very busy, burned out, and overworked….sometimes even underpaid (especially if you work for a Company).

I want to highlight in my Substack some things that have helped reclaim my time, peace and freedom while also doing what I love, Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation.

Because let’s be real, you did not go into business for yourself to be more stressed than working a 9-5. Entrepreneurship provides freedom, flexibility and most importantly opportunities to take your time back. I am building my business out of pure intention and excited to share my journey with you.
